Well, the semester is well underway. Reading group started, we don’t have a specific theme this semester but we have some interesting readings and presentations. I’ll try to remember to post the schedule somewhere so that we know what’s going on. Reading group starts at 3:00pm. Lisa presented last week on a study that we’re in the process of writing up. Next Monday Han will present some of the data from that study.
I’m in San Francisco right now– it’s raining, but beautiful. I’m here for an NIH grant review panel. We mainly review grants under the R01, R03, R21, and R15 mechanisms. We are staying at the Fairmont Hotel on Nob Hill. We had dinner at the Slanted Door Restaurant which is at the Ferry Building.
Also, I am presenting on Dynamic Assessment of Narratives via the web– called a Webinar. I’ve never done this before, but it should be fun. It should be a good introduction to how to do dynamic assessment and how it all works.
